FUN FACTS
about Malia
No. 1
As a woman that grew up in the south, I love monograms. I got an embroidery machine for Christmas in 2024 and nothing in my house is safe. Towels, cocktail napkins, my website, you name it. If it’s not moving, monogram it! Don’t forget to ask me about adding personalized props and accessories to your session package!
No. 2
I studied political science, business economics, and real estate at Notre Dame, but I’ve always been a creative at heart. Interior design, stationery design, videography, and photography have been hobbies of mine since middle school!
No. 3
If it’s a weekend morning, I’m probably at an estate sale. I have such an appreciation for quality, tradition, and the finer things in life, so shopping around for crystal, silver, and antiques is my favorite pastime. As an interior design enthusiast, I also get so much inspiration from seeing how other people decorate their homes.
No. 4
I almost always have some kind of DIY project going on. Whether it’s adding decorative trim to pinch pleat curtains, sewing new slipcovers for our furniture, or painting canvases for decorative art around our home, I am definitely one to see something and think, “I could do that myself!”

What my clients are saying
From start to finish, JP’s experience was exceptional
Malia was patient, and had a great eye for capturing his personality. She made him feel comfortable and relaxed, which resulted in genuine and natural-looking photos. We were very pleased with the final photos. Malia expertly edited them and digital files were of high quality. The turnaround time was also impressive. I highly recommend Malia for senior portraits. She captured this special milestone beautifully!

my person
Meet Jacob
I met this darling Hoosier at Notre Dame and he’s the reason I moved from Texas to Indiana! We got married the month after we graduated college in 2022 and have lived in Zionsville ever since. Jacob is such a loving and supportive husband and father, and I am so blessed that I get to call myself his wife. He is my biggest cheerleader and best friend, and none of this would be possible without him!
